I'm with Joe. What incident? There are always some who don't agree with what is said. There are always some who aren't happy unless they've hurt another. If you leave it should be because you have better things to do, this site just doesn't cut it for you, not because someone disagrees with you. Take what you need and leave the rest. Don't let the dolts get you down.

Personally, I need you here. Your posts make me smile and some even make me think. Both are good for my soul.

There will always be those who only mean to hurt. And most of us at one time or another will disagree with each other, sometimes vehemently and intensely and will hurt without meaning too. Just finding it hard not to say how we feel and to be a little angry about the other's views. We can't all see things the same way. We are the sum total of all of our own life experiences. We can't change other people we can only be who we are.


And try very hard not to hurt someone badly. And try harder to see the other's viewpoint. Just a little. And try to remember why we came to The Villages.

I understand completely. I choose to not reply most of the time to avoid personal attacks. I realize one should not take it personally, but it's difficult to understand someone's motive in making those kinds of attacks and it is hurtful.

Hope to see you back. We have to try and remember many of these comments are only opinions. If we guided our lives by what others think we'd go no where. We know our own truths and facts. Often I choose not to debate because people don't always know the facts and you can't tell them otherwise. In the end, opinions really don't matter much!

Golfingnut stayed all during the Political Forum and took it hard on the chin many, many times but also gave out a lot himself. If he stayed with all the insults of that Forum, I do not know what would make him quit now.

Lou, I hope you'll come back soon. For myself I can say that I use TOTV as an information site. I will be in/online when I like it to look, some days I do not log or check the news. So, if someone doesn't like me, I never would notice it. If someone wants to contact me, there is another possibility.

I try hard to believe that my friends would never intentionally hurt me no matter what they say, and if it does come out wrong they probably didn't mean it that way. Other people might say something that wasn't nice or was hurtful, but if they aren't friends of mine it doesn't really matter does it? And this forum does weed out who we want to get to know better, lol. Please don't go for too long. As you can see you matter to a lot of people and that's what counts ultimately. I am sorry someone upset you.
