We'll be arriving permanently in TV later next month. I am not a television person, but hubby loves to have access to sports channels, particularly major league baseball. I'm usually on the internet while he's watching his games, and now in NY we have Optimum online and cable TV with the sports package, but it is VERY expensive ($111/month, not including phone service).
Anyone have suggestions for sports on television that won't cost as much as season tickets?
Also, how is the wireless service at the rec centers if I want to take my laptop there?
We won't need to turn any of the services off seasonally.
Any suggestions are appreciated!

I just connected with comcast with a cost of 49.99 for preferred basic and 42.95 for the high speed internet plus installation cost of 19.00 per modem no phone with service but you do get digital service the first three months there is a promotion period, hope this helps you in your decision process
