Just switched from Brighthouse to Century Link. Same price, plus 2 premium channels, plus DVR that can tape 4 programs at once, fiber optics, $300 to switch.

Brighthouse internet and TV and for my phone I bought an Ooma device for
$109 (which I own and can take with me). With Ooma I have FREE phone service local and LD all I pay is the Fed Tax $3.50 a month. You all who opted for the cable company phone at $30 a month I have the same thing. You do the math.

As for Brighthouse the internet is very fast. The TV picture is great. Not crazy about their system for the DVR... We miss our Dish Network ! Will see if we can get use to the Birghthouse unit.

We just moved in 3 weeks ago. Brighthouse installed triple play next day (Sat.) with whole house wi-fi. Installed security on Monday, Now in the process of switching Verizon to Brighthouse since they are colaborating systems & products. Brighthouse is a very robust provider with Lightening 60 (60 MBPS speed). Also in process of developing and providing camera products with their security networks. You might find/negotiate lower rates with other providers, but based on my research, you will get hammered with price increases later. Brighthouse is confident enough to not lock you up with contracts/2 yr agreements. Technicians/installers are very knowledgeable and professional.
