Does anyone know where there are upscale antique stores?? Have been to Ocala and surrounding area. Know anyplace in Orlando?

Leesburg (downtown) has one...stuff comes from France. Also Miconopy (not sure of the spelling) north of Ocala. Taking 301 (I think it is) north, you will also pass through another small community (can't remember it's name...think it's a Scottish name) has a handful of antique shops as well. Without knowing what you're looking for though...it's tough to direct you.

I am actually wanting to sell some high end antique's I inherited. I looked around here and these places look like the usual antique/junk/memorabilia. Plus I wanted a large store that could buy my pieces. Thank you for the info, I didn't know about the one in Leesburg, I will look it up.

You are right about the quality of any antiques in this general area.
There is an auction facility that has some very good quality sales several time a year. Items are brought in from New England plus estate quality items from Florida. I have attended their auctions and they get good money for the items.
They most likely would be interested in your items either as a consignment or a stright buy out.
