I guess the title, says it all. He was a giant in the comedy industry, who spawned such great talents as Carl Reiner, Howie Morris, and Omogene CoCa.

Produced great writing talents like Neil Simon. Mel Brooks and others.

Who can forget "The Show of Shows".

We are losing way too many of the great ones.

I have heard many stories about Sid from his closest friends, and he truly was the funniest man alive. He also was a "crazy" man in real life and was a very powerful man. He had the strength of a body builder but his heart was very kind. He loved his staff and obviously surrounded himself with very talented individuals and never felt threatened.

He could imitate any foreign dialect and you would swear he was speaking the language. Between he and Imogene, that show was the best of the best. I don't think he ever rehearsed and when you heard him cough, which he did frequently, that was to remember a line or get prompted.

Those were the days!!!
