Since about 2002, photocopiers have had hard drives installed on them. Just watch the video!

Scary indeed.

And meanwhile, the sheeple parrot the government's cry for the "need" for Electronic Medical Records. Somehow, they're not talking about identity theft in that huge arena of data management and transmission.

I worked in the computer industry many years but somehow was not aware that copiers, started using hard drives to store informatiion. Never had to work on copiers. This is scary indeed as we all do business with people, who use copiers.

I doubt that upper level management, is aware of these hard drives storing data. Hard drives should be physiaclly destroyed, before the copier is given to someone else.

As Yogi would say, "who wouda thunk it!!!!

I've known about this for years. Don't use a public copier if you can possibly avoid it.
