My wife and I must be really lucky! We moved here just before Christmas and since we have been gone the a Richmond area has had a literal ton of snow!! Rather be lucky than good! We are both golfers and would like to meet other Va couples for golf. We are from the Richmond area.

Welcome Home Walt and Cheri!! I played golf regularly 30 years ago, but haven't played since. I've now invested in another set of clubs but have kept myself hidden in the practice areas as I'm not yet ready for the public laughter at my attempts to strike the ball! We lived in NOVA for several years (Dale City) and loved it - except for my commute north!

Again - Welcome Home!!!

Welcome! We are New Englanders originally, but lived in Mechanicsville for 2 years and in Providence Forge for 8, right on the Brickshire Golf Course. Since moving here, we have gotten involved in so many things that we are lucky if we get a round in a week, even on an exec! We know you will enjoy it here, and we certainly don't miss that snow and ice either!

Lived in Mechanicsville for thirty plus years and have been here since 2007. Welcome and you will love it. I am a pickleball player and do not golf as of now. Enjoy!

My wife is a Richmond native and I lived there for 20 years.

We are part time TVers in Pinellas until September 2015 when we get there for good.

Moved here from Richmond in 2007----My husband born and bred there---I moved there from Ky in 1964. He started out Branch's Church area; in fact, our first home was on Welford Ave. Then we moved to Belmont Acres and then Indian Springs--off Hopkins. Final home was River Towers Apts---before we moved here. We did have a River Cottage in Deltaville area. Go back to Richmond at least 2-3 times a year- My husband plays golf with neighborhood men but I haven't played in over 2 years. Welcome to the Villages. Our Golf Cart has a Va License Plate RIVAAAH---if you see us---say hi.

We moved here 9 years ago from Midlothian, husband moved there in 1973 and me in 1959 from Lynchburg. Haven't met too many folks from the Richmond area. What village are you in? Any interests other than golf...husband plays but I don't. Would be so nice to meet someone from back home! PM me if you like!

Hi and welcome to the Villages. My husband and I lived in Mechanicsville for about 5 years before we came to the villages. He plays golf but I am still working. I am sure he would love a golf buddy. He plays 2x a week now but would play every day if he could. PM me and again, Welcome

Hi there! We left Richmond(Bon Air area) late December also. Missed all of the snow (well not really 'missed').
We are glad to be here & still getting settled. Hope to have some golf time soon! We may look you up!

Small world! I am a native Richmonder, lived there over 50 years and our son is in 3rd year dental school out at University of Kentucky! We visited him in Lexington earlier this year and it was cold! We just moved into our home in the Village of Belvedere.... very convenient to most everything. We are headed to Golfest this morning, then golf at Glenview this afternoon. Would like to get together soon. Headed to Hilton Head next week, but we are open after that! Call us or email.

Bon Air area was really nice... especially the old church on Buford Road.. really created a Victorian theme! Florida is nicer...especially with no snow! We are golfers, not great ones, but always trying to improve our game. Headed to Golfest today. Round of golf later this afternoon. Would like to get together soon. Call us or email.

Hi there, we left Richmond/Henrico/Goochland counties after 40 years. Husband, mike was the Richmond PD spokesperson, and Crime Stopper's Board. Mike also ran The Chamberlain Actors Theater. We moved here four years ago, following a similar winter to the current one - we don't have to shovel sunshine:)

Welcome. PS. We both play golf, and Mike is also active in The Villages Theater.

Welcome Virginians! I am from The Bay, Urbanna, Deltaville, Mathews, Gloucester and the Northern NECK (Kilmarnock/Irvington). Love it here but I will be heading back to my beach sometime 1st of May. I will miss it here just like I miss it there now. The one thing I will never miss again is the cold and snow and cold and cold and cold! Nelson Horsley.

Well, you are so lucky! We live in NOVA (Fairfax), but my daughter lives in Richmond (VCU)-- I do love Richmond and the area, but the cold is another animal. I fell in love with TV since 2003 -- we are still making plans to move there in a few years.
Meanwhile, enjoy and all the best! It is beginning to warm up around here... ;-)
