Anyone out there with floor tile that has a square cut edge? It is called rectified tile. The edges are 90 degrees. Do you have problems with the grout height?

We have just had rectified tile installed in our Master Bath- both in the shower (walls and floor) and on the floor throughout the room and closet.
No problems with the grout height at all. It is level with the tile. We chose to have very fine grout lines between the tiles. That is, the tiles were laid very close together.
(Roberto's crew did the install)

There should be no issues. A bad grout job will ruin a good tile job and a good grout job will improve a bad tile job.

When we did our selections for our house, rectified porcelain tile was not even offered. We couldn't believe it. Consequently, we had to take one of the few things they offered and are VERY unhappy with the installation. It's the worst job in tile I have ever seen. I don't know how they are going to fix thie issues because it will be a mess.
Rectified tile is the way to go and as was previously posted, use a very small, tight grout line. You won't be disappointed.
