My husband has Parkinsons Disease. We drive to USF/Tampa Movement Disorder Center. Dr. Deborah Burke is his neurologist. She is excellent.

You can count on a 2-3 hour wait for Dr. Smirnoff on most days. I understand emergencies, but sitting and waiting for that long with an Alzheimer's patient got to be a bit much. If we were still in need of a neurologist, I would go to Gainesville, Orlando or Tampa. IMHO, the drive is worth it.
