Does anyone know who owns the large piece of land that is marked off by a yellow line on the arial view map. It is off 466 and borders on the polo grounds. Does this belong to founding father's "family" members?

I have no idea who owns that property, but I had a thought the other day (scary)...

It would be so nice if the Villages sold houses with a larger piece of property where
people could put their horses... crap

Still have the Villages like they are now but a new section with a different concept..

Just another one of my blonde moments..

abra...I believe that is all private property...much of it where the Morse, Moran, Lyall families live (developers and local Polo/Horse folks).

Not sure which parcel you are referring to, but you can find all the information.

Start at the Sumter County Board of County Commissioners site http://sumtercountyfl.gov/. Click on the Sumter County Maps on the left. Use the map to zoom in and locate the parcel. Using the "i" (Information) icon, select the parcel. You should see a new window with parcel information.

Next, go to Sumter County Tax Collector http://fl-sumter-taxcollector.governmax.com/ and use either the Account Number or GEO number search using the information you found from the previous site.

Now, be nice to you neighbors... ;D
