We are in a new villa in Pinellas and several trucks have been going through our section with large palms on a trailer. Has anyone purchased palm trees from Earl who is with Unique Palm and Landscaping (Orlando)? He seems honest but I want to check out the company and their guarantees. Earl said he has been planting in the Villages for 20 years (many in the Orange Blossom section).
Please call me at 751-6604 if you have had any experience with this company or email me at reeder1805@gmail.com

would you buy a refrigerator or a television from someone who is cruising through your neighborhood? soliticitation is discouraged in TV, and if you participate in purchasing from these people then you are encouraging them to disregard the rules of TV.

Earthscapes did our landscaping and we were more than pleased with the attitude of their personnel and the results. They drew up an architectural plan, and made sure everything met our expectations. Ellen Noon, their on-site landscape specialist was a dream with whom to work. They're located on Rt. 44, just east of 301 and can be reached at 352-748-0351 if you would like to get some ideas and a quote.
I know many people would argue with me, but I would never use Mansfield, even if he paid me to do the job! He is arrogant and condecending and his 1/2 hour dissertations are annoying and unnecessary. In addition, 90% of what he does seems to look like what he does for everyone; most of what he does all look alike.

A palm tree of the wrong kind will die here. If it's planted wrongly it may put roots through structures of your home. I'd try to be more informed before buying a palm. Contact master gardeners thru IFAS/UF. There is a Sumter Co. Master Gardener group that has plant clinics in TV or you can reach them by phone.

McGowan's is the way to go. An awesome honest company. We've had them do several things over the last couple of years, including a major re-do of our yard shortly after we purchased our home.

Call Seniors vs Crime to see if they have a file on Earl. Best rule of thumb is not to buy from anyone who shows up at your door.

Ellen no longer works for Earthscapes. And good luck if you there. They never call back.

You are correct. Ellen is no longer at Earthscapes and that is a shame.
She ran that nursery and crew as though she had a big piece of the business.
I understand that the owner's mother has taken her place.
I happened to call there last week and left a message.
Just as you said, I have not received a return call.
