We used Stone Creations to enhance our driveway and it was not a good experience dealing with those people. First, we took pictures of other driveways they had done and asked them to duplicate the lines in one of their design selections. The center section of the design they laid was noticeably crooked and we requested it be corrected. They claimed it was our fault for asking them to do something out of the norm even though it was one of their standard design selections. They repaved the bad section but the next day we noticed the sealer did not blend in with the rest of the driveway and was not as glossy. That was in October 2013. We tried to contact them numerous times but were told the owners were "not available". On one occasion the receptionist hung up on my wife. Finally in January 2014 I threatened legal action and finally got a phone call. The owner again blamed us for for the problem but offered a small refund (less than 10%) or for an additional fee they would install some artwork in the defective area (smaller than the defective area). We settled on the refund. This company does good work but but their customer service is awful. Although their own paperwork says you only need to be on site at specified times I recommend you stay home whenever they are on-site to make sure the work is done to your liking. There is a language gap with some of the workers which may have lead to the problem.

Sorry you had a bad experience with Stone Creatons. We had them do our driveway and we had a tremendous experience. Before we hired them we spoke with three homeowners in our area that used them and all were satisfied. We would use them again,

We, too, have had a good experience with Stone Creations. No problems with the quality of the work and we found their workers to be hardworking and very polite. Did have one minor issue later on and they came right out and fixed it for us. So far, so good.

We feel your pain...we too have been waiting since September for them to come out and repaint our lanai, just a bunch of no shows and rescheduling. We too are seeking legal counsel.

They rescheduled us so often we finally cancelled the job. Still looking.....I've read all the recommendations and NOT recommendations on here, and it's hard to decide. No matter who, some love them.....some not so much!

I've been warned off of Angie's list by other construction workers. Anyone use it and have you been happy with the recommendations??

Don't know if this will help or if you want the same technique as I had but, I contracted Go Concrete Design on three separate occasions and my experience was superior. They don't take a deposit and they make sure the customer is totally satisfied before they take payment.

Thanks to all the warnings on TOTV about Stone Creations, we had no desire to try to schedule them to reseal the decorative concrete they originally installed three years ago. But we also didn't have any idea who to call.

We are grateful to the posters who mentioned GO Concrete Designs. We met with David and three weeks later the guys showed up as scheduled. They have just finished restoring the concrete on the driveway and resealing it plus all the other decorative concrete we have. We are very pleased.

Thank you for your post. We were just about to hire Stone Creations but your post and others probably saved us from making a mistake, thank you. We Villagers are all in the same boat so these posts are very helpful.

Sorry you had a bad experience with them. Ours was very good (we get many compliments on the work). You have to understand they advertise a one of a kind driveway coating that is done free hand by their excellent workers. Its not supposed to be a direct copy of another job. We are very pleased with it - its now two years old.

Really appreciate this info. Got a quote from Stone Creations for our front porch and lanai. Called 4 times to get on their schedule and could NOT get a call back. Guess our job was too small.

Potential customers definitely beware of this company! Look at the BBB rating for them.
Our personal experience with them......two of our neighbors joined us in getting our three driveways, walkways and lanais done three years ago. All three houses were worked on at the same time. The results are......all have faded, all have small surface cracking throughout the driveways. One driveway has major breakage as the original mix put on was too thin. They have had Stone Creations out to repair this three times. As the time passes, more breakage is occurring. Stone Creations response is to come take pictures and put you on a list. Months have gone by and no work is being done.

Bottom line is...when the work is DONE CORRECTLY, the customer will be happy, satisfied and will post here about how wonderful their work is. However, potential clients cannot and should not ignore when posts warn them of problems that go unresolved and ignored by a company. This work was very expensive and not supported by the company's guarantee.

We do NOT recommend Stone Creations! We used them originally to do our driveway--and it was a great job. But after the original work is done you will not get them back to your house to re-seal and do what they mention in the original contract. We have called many many times and left e-mails. We finally contacted Go Concrete to do the work which should have been done by Stone Creations. We are now in the process of contacting the Better Business Bureau and considering legal action.
We do recommend Go Concrete--very respectful, professional, and our driveway looks new!

Waited two weeks for appointment didn't turn up
Asked why, lady had an emergency, didn't
Bother to call back ,waited for nothing.
We called and called, always some excuse
Asked to reschedule, we have to wait another
Three weeks. Said we wanted a price, have
Seen the workmanship locally, have the money
Waiting, want it done. Answer, three weeks.
Read all your warnings now, guess what, I'm
Done with this set of idiots, who needs the aggravation.

Sad thing is, we also had stone creations do our driveway, and it is fanastic.. love it.. but.. have been trying since January to do the topcoat... that they said to do when we put it in years ago.. of course.. have called weekly and contacted from web.. and NO response.. I feel awful for the "off site' people that I have called.. Megan has been wonderful, but this is so awful..

sooooo, the next thing is.. is there another company that we can contact to come and topcoat us.. or... what can we use to do it ourselves????

We are extremely happy with Go Concrete. They did our enclosed lanai and front porch. Beautiful.

Last year, when it was time for the 3-year sealant, we read the negative posts on here about Stone Creations, who originally did the work. The posts on this site convinced us to call Go Concrete. We were happy with them.

We had Stone Creations do work for us three years ago but they did not follow up with correcting problems with their product/workmanship or return phone calls. We gave up waiting for them. We called Go Concrete to come to repair the work that Stone Creations did on our driveway and patio as well as resealing it. They are scheduled to do the work at the end of this month.

Our neighbors who also used Stone Creations have major breakage in their driveway. They paid over $4,000.00 for the original job. Stone Creations tried to repair it twice, but it keeps breaking apart. Representatives from this poorly run company said that they would be out to repair it again. That was over a year ago. Despite multiple phone calls and emails no further work has been done. Three fourths of this long driveway are now in deplorable condition as the original mix was put on too thinly. The people went to Seniors Against Crime and are number 39th on the list with other Villagers who have been taken advantage by this company. Go Concrete came out to give an estimate to repair the driveway. It will cost almost the amount that the couple paid for the original work.

Stone Creation advertises " no fading." Truth: major fading!
They do not follow up with service for their product or workmanship.
Phone calls are ignored. Appointments are not kept.
Check out the BBB rating for both of these companies.
In summary: don't call Stone Creations.
