Hi everyone....right now we are renting but as of mid March we will be closing on a house in beautiful Bonita! We can't wait! I'm sure I'll be looking for a lot of help from all of you. Right now...we have company coming into Orlando and I was wondering if there is any other way, other than using Rt. 4, to get to the airport. Thanks for any help you can give and looking foreward to meeting everyone.

Florida Turnpike to RT 528 east, to airport. 1 hour 10 minutes from LSL.
Do Google Maps.

441/27 south to Leesburg where they split. Stay right onto 27. Go about ten miles to the Florida Turnpike to RT 528 east, to airport. 1 hour 10 minutes from LSL.

I think that 528 east is exit 254 on the Turnpike.

Use the Villages transportation, I did this for company that just came last week, leaving next week. You cannot beat this for cost and schedule.

Not sure why you think Route 4 comes into play getting to the airport. Use exit 254 off the turnpike and just follow the signs. Never have to get onto that nasty route 4!

I agree with Russ...avoid Route 4...
The turnpike is a very nice road.
To make it even more enjoyable, pick up a Sunpass automatic toll payer. Sunpass is available from local retailers including Publix. With this you'll breeze right through the toll booths.

From the southern areas of the villages it is very easy to hop on the turnpike in Wildwood. The entrance is just south of Hwy 44 on hwy 301. Straight shot to orlando, just follow the signs for the airport.

This cuts out all the construction and traffic you have to negotiate going through Leesburg on 441/27
