I used Preparation H once.
It did not work.

I can remember once when I was a kid my Dad brushed his teeth using my Brylcream hair product. It was the same red and white color as Colgate toothpaste. He was really ****ed at ME... I asked him if he had his glasses on? Nope.

This is a great thread. Reminds me of a day, quite a few years ago, I had finished styling my hair and had it looking exactly the way I wanted, and I reached for the hair spray on the counter to make sure it stayed in place. Lo and behold, I grabbed the can of furniture polish instead of hairspray, I'm sure you can imagine my reaction to this mistake...:swear:

No, I didn't have my glasses on, but the cans looked nothing alike, so have no idea why this happened. Just too much in a hurry.

One of my friends did the reverse in the middle of the night - got up to apply some Prep H, and when she went back to bed, she suddenly felt a "minty fresh" sensation in an unexpected place!
