We will be moving to TV the first of 2008. Can anyone recommend an all purpose bank in TV? We will need ATM, electronic banking and lobby service.

Citizens First Bank is convenient, very friendly and their ATMs are at every postal station where they stock them with not only cash but also postage stamps. They are only in TV and Leesburg. Their debit card is on the PULSE, PRESTO, CIRRUS and STAR networks. The bank is developer owned however but seems financially healthy. They are FDIC insured. Check their website http://www.citizensfb.com/. They have a mortgage division where most buyers here seem to get their mortgages from. Free popcorn and apples usually at the entrance to the buildings. Clubs can borrow their big BBQ Grills for functions. Employees are very happy working there.

Other nationwide and regional banks are:
Bank of America: 2 branches
Sun Trust: many branches
Wachovia: a few branches

Citizens staff are friendly and welcoming for sure, love the popcorn. ;D However Bank of America offers much better rates on CDs (although I find the staff rather abrupt at the Parr location).

We have used Citizens since we moved here in 2002. We do have some cd's at other banks but do main business at Citizens. Only problem I have ever had was with Janet at the Main Street bank. Was not a biggie but she talked to me in the wrong way. I just make sure I do not do business with her.

:o I to bank at Citizens. Their biggest problem is that their back office functions are very old and the online banking on the weekend will be 3 days behind. If you use online I would suggest another bank.

I am also a fan of Citizens. To me you can't beat the friendly service. I also have a safety deposit box there. It's ever so convenient to drive my golf cart there when I need access. ATMs are very easy to find. Yes, I have noticed online transactions take a bit longer to post but that's no biggie to me!

It's a lifestyle convenience in my book!
