Karen
Thanks for once again hosting a party for us all. At this pace, you'll have hosted about 9 within a year!
One question: It is a 6 PM start time, but you said bring "snacks". So, is it really just snacks, and those who like to eat a healthy meal should eat before coming, or does snacks mean the usual bring a pot luck dish? Either way is fine with me!

FOOD: I feel certain that there will be plenty of food from guests and host (me) and can assure you would find plenty to have dinner and soak up the alcohol all night long. That said, if you want corned beef and cabbage DINNER instead of on little toasts, you might want to bring a crock pot full and serve yourself first. (I could do that, but I was thinking about making up mini reubens.) :wine:(I might have some green beer here too...):mmmm:

GAMES: I figured we'd opt for group games like Left/Right/Center (Dice), Pictionary, Balderdash and Charades, but am open to suggestions.

Join in - wear your GREEN and come hungry and thirsty :a040::D
LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ALL HERE at Karen's Palm Aire Garden Retreat

Good grief! I'm not single, but I might crash for the mini reubens!

LOL, REUBENS are YUMMY! I usually crave a couple reubens around St.Patty's Day. So far I've tried a few at restaurants around and ARBY's version was a total disappointment, but when the OB Country Club was open, they made a fantastic one. Tell me where to find the best one around here - or I'll do the Boar's deli corned beef and make my own (AGAIN) :)

I am still laughing at some of the questions and answers during the improv game. The whole evening was so much fun. The food, especially the Reubens was great. The lei -no game, which I lost quickly was a great start to an extremely entertaining evening. You are a very talented hostess and I am lucky to have such caring, adventuresome and fun loving friends. My thanks to you.

There once was a party hostess named Karen,
who last night the green was wearin'.
The real theme was game,
not a one was lame,
and there wasn't a bit of pairin'.

Karen,
Your party was a great success, as we all knew it would be. You always throw a great party. I want to also thank all my guinea pigs who were willing to change their identities and join in the improv game, especially Joe who definitely had us in stitches with his concept of the perfect marriage proposal.

Joe's take on the perfect marriage proposal, which was,
"one where the woman says "no""
good grief, I still can't stop :1rotfl:

Thanks to everyone who came and those that couldn't but were here in spirit ("Quirky"). I always enjoy a gathering of friends when there is a drink in my hand, friends to talk with, and events to keep some interest. Glad you liked the mini-reubens and thanks for sharing your yummy food and leaving the wine that kept me laughing yesterday - along with the jokes and teases from Saturday night. I sure lost my "lei" quickly when I said "NO" in the first minute (to "maybe")! Guess I'm just EASY :-)

I just tried BEFRIENDING you all. If I missed anyone, please befriend me. Toast to my TOTV friends!:eclipsee_gold_cup:
