A large (up to 4 feet long) lizard has taken up residency in parts of Florida not far from The Villages. They have no natural enemies and eat almost anything like birds, small mammals, eggs, and turtles.
If you see any of these large black and white Tegu lizards, call Florida Wildlife Services. We sure do not want them to breed like the pythons in the Everglades.
