we have a few tiles that when one bounces a golf ball on tiles the are obviously not totally "glued" down or the adhesive has dried up or poor installation or what ever.......has potential for a tile to come loose.

Is the only way to fix this to chip out the grout and hope to remove the tile without breaking it? Then hope you have some spares hiding in the garage.

If you choose to replace the tile, just make sure you can get replacements . Tile company's will sometimes stop making runs of tiles and it might make it difficult to find replacements if you damage it while removing it.

Speaking from experience, it's almost guaranteed you'll break the tiles when trying to remove them. I'd try to find matching tiles before you start. If you call the warranty office, they can tell you exactly what tile was used. If it's more than a couple of years old, plan on trouble matching color, and maybe exact size because the tiles are made in batches.

That is pretty normal and there is NO need to replace the tile. Your tile is just fine. I don't recommend that you bounce a golf ball on your tile floor either.

If they were put in with adhesive use a heat gun or hair dryer after removing the surrounding grout, they should lift up perfect.
