Dad has a 2013 EZGO electric cart with a Curtis Cab. He bought this new from Town & Country Golf Carts in December. When the cart was delivered the man said it will take a while for the tires to stop bumping. I thought this was strange since it was new, not sitting around. Dad said it would 'shake your eyeballs out' so I took it for a ride and he was right.

After 4 trips to the dealer we give up. He said that is just the way all golf carts ride. I have 2 others and they don't shake your eyeballs out! He said there is nothing he can or will do. Very rude way to treat people that spent over $13,000. with them. :rant-rave:

Sorry for all the fuss but I know this can be corrected for Dad.

Is there a place that specializes in golf cart wheels and tires that I can drive to?

If you jack up the front end and give the front wheels a spin, you'll probably notice flat spots on the tires. I was told it is because of the way they're shipped. (packed tightly together in a crate) I'm not sure if you said that the dealer checked out the cart in person or just by what you told them. Insist that they check it personally. Stand your ground with the dealer. It's an easy fix. Keep after them!

We have but the owner is like the Soup Nazi! He said he will nothing and if we wait for 100 charges it will improve? I don't think Dad will live that long! I would rather pay to get it fixed for Dad and NEVER go back to Town & Country.

I bought mine from advantage golf car. They put four different sets of wheels and tires on mine before it was acceptable. It is still not perfect but I have given up on it. Next car I will buy will be what I knew I should have bought in the first place, Yamaha.

Just cheap made in China tires.
Have a friend who installed trailer tires on his cart.
They ride a little hard, but have lasted 9 yrs., still have lots of tread left.

I have the same tires on my Yamaha and they are fine. The EZGO almost feels like a wobble instead of a bounce. I wonder if it is how the wheel bolts to the cart?

The mechanic told me it was the design of the suspension in the EZGO. Several of our friends bought houses when we did and we all bought new golf cars. Two of us got EAZY go, two got club Car, Two bought Yamaha and one a Par Car. The only ones that have the shakes are the EZGO. The service manager at EZGO told me that radials, which they do not make in 12 inch, would be the only fix. I now have 1800 miles on mine and it is better but it has been a rough ride for most of the time.

A little warning for anyone looking to buy a cart. DON'T BUY EZGO! Especially from Town and Country Golf Carts.
