I am surprised that Panera isn't scheduled to locate at Brownwood. They do such a business at both locations currently.

Wish McAllisters would come instead....good for competition and a little different. Like both for different reasons.
Ok my vote may not count since I'm just a wannabe.

Oh Boy, do I agree!!! McAlister's is great!! There's one in Ocala and we go there when we're shopping at Macy's in Ocala. Wish it was closer to TV but that's not too far to visit.

Panera did not go into Sumter Landing until it was well established, in fact I think it was after Starbucks was there - we used to frequent Starbucks. You probably already know they are located in what used to be TV Sales building. I have no idea when they started in SS, it was well before we moved here.

I think Bob Evans would be a nice addition to Brownwood. All-day breakfast is always appealing and the atmosphere fits with Brownwood's country feel.

Panera is excellent but certainly not cheap. We go there---mostly for lunch. I would rather see a breakfast restaurant like Perkins, Bob Evans or IHOP for Brownwood.

Panera at LSL opened in May 2011. I remember because we were on our LSV at the time.

As of right now Brownwood does not have establishments that are very good and reasonable in my opinion. Hoping that all those vacant stores will be filled by some good eating establishments!

Panera Bread is already scheduled for Brownwood and in fact a location has already established. This according to the management offices of Panera.
Possible time line would be late summer?
Perkins and Bob Evans are tasty but these restaurants also use loads of salt and MSG. (Verified the MSG factor) MSG is nothing less than poison for your system.
Also totally different platforms of eating... Agree a nice sit down type restaurant for breakfast would be nice.. but this will come in time.. be patient as the population will bring this right along.
Not many places can you find the quality of bagels for $1 + or the freshness of their pastries. And the coffee is very fairly priced one must admit.
