ACE Hardware in Wildwood. Any of the ACE stores are good because they only charge for the the amount to fill the tank.

What I love about the ACE hardware in Wildwood is, the propane filling tank is behind the store (outside) and I can pull right up to it, and the young man helps me with the empty tank and then puts the filled tank in the car for me. What a blessing considering I'm old and feeble (lol). I love help like this, now if I could only take him home and have him bring it in the house and assemble it for me.... ohhhh shucks! Don't think that will happen. ;)

Walgreens & Wal-Mart also. They exchange out your tank.

Sparr Building and Farm Supply at the southwest corner of Powell Rd and Hwy 44 near Brownwood does propane exchanges.

Home Depot has an outdoor kiosk (24 hours) for propane exchanges.

Home Depots Kiosk is against the wall by the front entrance, and I had to take the tank from the top shelf and carry it over to my car. Granted, I did park the car as close as I could to the kiosk but for whatever distance it was, it really broke my poor little back, lol. Just can't say enough good things about my pals at ACE.

We too found the Home Depot setup hard on the back and generally not very user friendly. We really prefer Ace, where you keep your own tank, have it refilled, and they do all the work for you.

If you have good clean tanks, it's much better to have them refilled than to exchange. I have 2 that I know are "clean" and will not exchange them until their life expectancy has expired (12years).

Yes, Ace Hardware in Wildwood. Your tank must not be out of date or date expired. If so go to the Winn Dixie in Wildwood and you can purchase one with gas in it. Remember to select one that has a newer date on it. When you need to refill take this one to Ace.
