Hopefully you will find a home through TOTV. If you don't have luck placing them together through this website, try a westie rescue. They will probably be able to place them together.

We are looking for a retired couple with a loving home for two adorable Westie's named Banjo & Louie. They are 3 years young and in good health. Both are well mannered, potty trained, and they love sun bathing and playing in the pool.
Please call Deb at 407-443-7780 for more information.
Can you give some background? What is their story?

No, I didn't receive it. I was just thinking that some more background might draw more interest. I've always thought it would be fun to have two dogs.

Pictures and price might help. Westies are cute.
My Ben and Jerry would love them but 4 dogs; too much.

I just read that 63 percent of American households have dogs but I have to believe it is much higher here. Which is good and bad for folks trying to find a new home for their pets here. I would have to think that those who love dogs here, have dogs for the most part.

I hope you find someone to love them. Residents here are allowed to have two, but can have more if they move here with more, but two after those go across the rainbow bridge.

Good luck. It must be VERY hard for them to leave you. I wish someone on OUR street would be the ones to love them. So I could see them often.

Banjo & Louie are both male who have been together since 8-weeks old. Banjo is AKC bloodline who we purchased from a breeder in Ocala. Louie is CKC bloodline purchased from a pet store in Orlando. Both are neutered. Louie has a microchip. They love going for walks and are leash trained. My husband and I work for US Customs & Border Protection full time, therefore the dogs are kenneled during the day. We love them dearly and have restled with rehoming them hoping to find good loving folks who are home all day. We're willing to let them go for free to a good home. Please contact me for more info.

Banjo and Louie are two adorable Westies. And they're already potty trained! It is admirable of you to consider rehoming them because you and your husband are away all day. I'm sure it hurts.

TOTV is a great place to look for a new home for them. There are a lot of wonderful dog lovers here. I wish we could take them, but we're at our max. For sure, they will light up someone's life, and bring them much joy.

Good luck.

Sweet little boys. Westies have lovely personalities. Sad that you have to let them go, but if your schedule doesn't provide for their needs, then you are doing the right thing. I would bet that someone here in TV will be thrilled to have them in their lives.

They are adorable. Please do a homecheck and be careful with whom you allow them to live. Some not so reputable people (not saying Village people) pose as new homes and do brokering of dogs to some unsavory places when people do not charge for dogs, or other scary things. I'm sorry to interject such awful ideas, but I want them to be safe. I know you love them and just want to see them safely placed in new, loving forever homes with great parents who will give them just what they need and you want. Good luck. Oh, they are so darling. And housebroken and crate trained! How sad for you. I hope a loving home comes along for them soon.

Please let us know how the rehoming search is going.
I keep looking at the pictures of Banjo and Louie.
They are so darn appealing!

You have to be commended for doing what is probably one of the toughest things you've had to do in awhile, but the right thing.

If worse comes to worse and you cannot find someone to take the boys, you might check out a rescue. Some rescues will let you keep your dogs at home until a new home is found. They will place a courtesy post on their website. A reputable rescue will do a homestudy on any family wishing to adopt. I personally, would also want to go to the people's home, if possible, and check it out. There are various rescues listed on-line and some are breed specific. Hopefully, as cute as your little guys are, you won't have to go that route.
