There is a spell check icon on the tool bar within Yahoo mail compose window:

It has abc with a checkmark under it.

I do not have a tool bar within Yahoo mail compose window - I had one but when I had my computer repaired it's gone - do you know how I can get it back - if not, I will call the repair person - thanks.

Does your window look like this one?

If so, click on the little sideways "chevron" >> to the right of the paperclip and you should get your tool bar back.
