Sounds similar to an issue I am having, so maybe someone out there can help us both. I had to change password in Facebook and now it isn't connected to Candy Crush any longer. People say to delete the app and reinstall because FB will remember what level I am on. That makes no sense to me, seeing FB is no longer connected to Candy Crush. Anyone have a workable suggestion as I am on level 302 and do not want to start over again

You need to talk to your friend to see what setting he changed....could be a multitude of problems.

Not sure this will help you but on the Kindle you go into Candy Crush>Settings and log out of facebook and log back into facebook. When you log back in it will ask for your facebook password and will resync you.
That worked for me.
Maybe it works the same way on your I-pad.

I can not access the "Summary" in I-Tunes in order to look at correcting what he changed.

Well....here's a solution for you:
Go to "control panel" find "uninstall or change a program" you have to uninstall apple mobile device support after you've done that you also have to uninstall iTunes and after you're done all that. go online download and install a fresh copy of iTunes.
Mostly likely, you will not have to reboot for this to work, but your iPad should connect after that.
Good Luck!
