Day or Overnight Trips from TV???

Hi, we are new to TV and Florida having come from the West Coast.
Is there a thread or listing of good day or overnight trips from TV?
I think there is a columnist in the Daily Sun who makes trip suggestions occasionally. Do you know who that might be?

someone who wrote a book about this topic was posting often on one of the threads and i went back to look but could not find them....i think it was in the feminine forum....but you can check out the ads in the daily sun each sunday from legendary journeys for ideas. my favorite is st augustine for at least an overnight, but there are many other options depending on what you like to do....have fun exploring!
