I maintain three checking accounts, one for local use in Northwest Georgia/Tennessee, one for national use when traveling and major purchases and one for local use in The Villages.

Both my Georgia/Tennessee and national accounts give me free checks as a "prestige" status with checking and savings accounts at both.

However, my First Citizens account in TV charges $24.50 for 100 checks. Do I need to change my TV local bank or is there a more "prestige" status I can set up at First Citizens? I do have both a savings and a checking account at First Citizens. Maybe my balances aren't high enough there yet?

To be sure of up-to-date accurate answers to your questions, it would be best to call Citizens First directly.

Also, you don't need to order checks from a bank. If you google "Checks" you'll find many low cost options online.

I get my checks from Vista Print. Cheap, nice selection, gets to me quickly.

Ya, but they have free fresh popcorn.:a040:

They also have the monpoly on convenience, so you pay for that.

Why not get a bank that is local everywhere, like Wells Fargo
