Not if you intend them for putting out trash. Cans are not allowed, only bags, that is why our streets are nice after trash pickup; no cans left out while folks aren't home.

You can bring them, but not to use at curb. All refuse goes into plastic bags. The cans you can use in your garage in between pick ups. Welcome and happy times!

In regards to trash cans, and this is funny....When we were renting about six years ago, there was a trash can in the garage. I had two bags of trash and I put them outside...in the trash can. Well, didn't the truck pick up not only trash bags but the trash can as well. I had to run up to Wally World to buy a new one. Lesson learned.

Welcome, fellow hoosier and boilermaker! We are natives of Lake County, IN. Our son graduated from Purdue in 1999. Right now we are snowbirds and new residents of Hillsborough. And, why or why must I go back to Indiana in a couple weeks? Soon we will be frogs. I see there is an Indiana Club in TV. I'll have to check it out next year. You're gonna love it here!
