Don't laugh, but I'd like to talk to anyone who has a Bigfoot story (sighting, found tracks, etc.).

I heard rumors last summer that bigfoot was walking around in the redwoods in the Sonoma County, CA area. http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=450 Could have been a hoax though?? Here's a bit more information about a previous? sighting?-- http://www.boingboing.net/2005/12/22/footage-of-possible-.html

I heard that he's a sales manager in a Buick dealership in East Providence, RI.

SUN reporter: Interesting topic ... but fat chance you'll get a sensible answer from anyone on TOTV. ;D But thanks for opening an entertaining thread. I had a spaniel named "Bigfoot" .. maybe we could talk about him? His feet were huge.

Steve 0528, you are too funny. :a20:

Well, my ex had big feet -- size 17-1/2. Does that count? Last sighting was two years ago. He used to be kinda hairy but now is kinda bald. Think he shrunk an inch or two, too. Oh, his nickname was Sasquatch if that helps for your article.

The southern version of bigfoot seems to be the skunk ape. Found in the Everglades according to a Google search but dismissed as a myth by the Park Service.

RI? Would that not be a northern version of the skunk ape?

About a week ago, some folks thought they spotted Big Foot in Florida. Turned out to be a fox squirrel....of all critters. That species of squirrel can grow large.....but not THAT large. Go figure. Snuffy....have another beer and stare into the woods a spell......yeeehaaa....did y'all see what I jus saw?
