I just received an email from a friend in Ft. Lauderdale enclosing an article sent to her that was published November 28 in the Villages Daily Sun stating there is going to be charges for tables on New Years Eve. It was a complaining article about all the stuff going on regarding the entertainment in the Villages. Anyone know the truth regarding this. I hate rumors and this sounds just like someone that has a hate campaign against the Morse Family (again) and the Entertainment Department in general.

This statement means what??/ After the article in today's paper stated a return of table fees and a return to normal 5 - 9pm entertainment with a cancellation of NYE entertainment. Think you "conveniently" omitted some published info in order to start another rumor, oh excuse me, "thread" on line for those that are not from this area and would not see the daily paper...

Hmmmm, did someone drink the koolaid?

Fact is that the Villages Entertainment Department cancelled the festivities, refunded the tables, avoided a burgeoning controversy or so they think, and are now busily trying to wipe the egg off their faces. There is no more New Year's Eve on the Town Squares unless you count 9:00 as the witching hour.

Careful there JT! Us witches don't want our hour changed and we sure as heck don't want to be blamed in any way, shape or form for this mess.

Just curious, are there any other activities going on in TV on NYE (besides Katie Belle's)? What about the country clubs, are there any parties scheduled at them? I can't believe that the town squares are the only gig in town.
