Brake lights out

I have a battery operated 2010 Club Car Precedent. We recently had a beeper added to the turn signal. Now the brake lights do not work. Turn signals are ok so bulbs are seemingly ok. Any ideas?

The signal lights and the brake light are wired through the turn signal stalk on the steering column.
This is a sensitive electronic device, I do not know how you installed the beeper so I would start by disconnecting it and see if the brake lights work again.
