Work started today on the golf course/s going in along Morse Road south of 466A. They've been busy all day with the bulldozer grading and moving the dirt.

Yes GG that's the downside. But it's been nothing but dirt for the longest time. Looking forward to something more than dirt, dirt, dirt everywhere. Anxious to have a golf course view

Is this going to be an executive or country club?

Believe it or not I was walking down that way on Sunday and there was one lonely dozer working on a small area. Can't wait when it's complete!

It is north, west, and south of what you may call the dump, I think it is some kind of transfer facility.

We actually need more executive courses so they will be welcome I'm sure.

I was driving south on Morse Blvd past where the OP is talking about and a distance off to the east right before you get to the last open roundabout you can see the last Championship course taking shape of in the distance. They have laid sod and planted palm trees as well as completed cart paths. You can only see a small portion of it so I have no clue how many holes they are working on at this time. It looks very nice from a distance. I don't know when it will open but they are moving fast on it. My guess is it is a year out but as fast as The Villages moves time will tell.

I was told by a friend that this last Championship course is to be the finest course and club house in The Villages. Since it will be the last they want to do it with a great splash. I do not live down that way but will be looking forward to playing it when it opens.

Golf Administration indicated in January that it will open this fall. 27 holes.

Belle Glade will be a Country Club just as the others with 27 holes of golf. Not sure what they will do at Fruitland but as of now it will be the last Country Club in TV.

Are there six new exec courses? Or are the courses mentioned by Dude part of the Championship Course?

Three new execs. Sarasota, Volusia, and Escambia are around the Sarasota driving range.

Three new championship nines mentioned by Dude are farther south near Hillsborough Trail.
