As an offshoot of the Lake Miona Theatre group, our Katie Rogers, who has years of experience teaching acting and improvisation, has started a fun group to learn the basics of improv. The club meets on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month at Lake Miona rec center at six pm...This Sunday, March 23rd, is our next meeting...Come and see what the laughs are all about!

I would just like to mention that, although improvisation is a necessary skill for anyone who enjoys acting in our theater community, most of the folks who attend my class come for the laughs, with no intention of getting on stage. Improv is simply a lot of fun and you never know, you just might find yourself bitten by the acting bug. It's a rather intoxicating virus, with absolutely no known cure.
