lanai ceiling insulation

has anyone had insulation added to the ceiling of their enclosed lanai?
if so, would appreciate the names of the companies you used and if you are so inclined, approximate cost?

I haven't been paying much attention, so I guess that's a good sign. Right now it's 11am and the sun is shining right on the garage and has been awhile and the thermometer I put there says 84 degrees. I'll check it again later and report back.

we used a company that the contractors recommended: Newberry
I think it helped the heat in the lanai

I used Gale Insulation & Specialities. They charged $ 575 for the lanai and garage. Price will vary by square footage covered. I do think it makes a difference!

the readings I gave were for the garage...it was up to 86 later in the day. The lanai is great in the morning but when the afternoon sun hits the side it still gets hot.
