I have been trying to find Stachytarpheta jamaicensis which is a low growing/speading variety of blue porterweed. It is drought tolerant and great in sunny hot and dry locations. The only plants I have found available in nurseries so far are for the taller variety or ones that are labeled as Stachytarpheta jamaicensis but indicate the plants will get 2-3' tall which means they are not labeled correctly and not what I want.
I would take seeds, cuttings or "volunteer" plants since they reseed themselves easily. If anyone has any they are willing to share I have lots of gallardia seedlings (also a native, sun loving, drought tolerant all season bloomer) or seeds to share in exchange.
Thanks!
