I just returned unscathed from cross country skiing here in Michigan, and then tore the hell out of my rotator cuff slipping on the ice while snowblowing my driveway. In the interests of getting out of the winter hell hole called Michigan, I have decided to defer the repair surgery until I arrive at our house in The Villages at the end of this month Can anybody recommend a good shoulder surgeon?

Thanks.

Barb 1191 and flredhead-- Thanks for the replies to my request.

FYI, an MRI here in Michigan showed "a massive rotator cuff tear" + two tendons completed severed. With this report and my arm dangling, there is no doubt that surgery will be necessary. After extensive research, I decided to have it done by a shoulder specialist in Orlando, a Dr. Randy Schwartzberg.
