There are about 4 steps to posting picutres here on TOTV. Starting next Wednesday, I will post one step each day. By the end of next week, we will all be able to post pictures like the one below. Before we start, everybody please decide on a picture that you would like to post. It must be a digital photo and it must be on your hard drive. Please decide on the picture that you will use for this first upload. If it is still on your camera, please place it somewhere on your hard drive and remember where it is located.

We will soon all be able to post pictures like this one.

Any chance of being able to download a picture from the web to here? I can load a regular pic (I think) but have really wanted to load a pic from another site to here a couple of times.

Not directly. You must first store it at your storage facility. We will cover all of that next week when "Picture Posting" classes begin here on Talk of The Villages. ;D ;D ;D :read: :read: :read:

Jan...

When we upload the pics to this website, do you plan to have these pics placed in a specific section of this website? Or, do we upload onto any of the Forums?

barb1191

Once you learn how to do it, you will be able to post anywhere at all in this forum. No special section is needed.

Someone posted instructions using photobucket and I think it works. Test 1. However I will still follow the class as I am sure this is just the very basics.

Talk Host, There was no picture posted where you said "like this one". Do we something added to our computer to see the pictures?

Hey TEACH.

The picture that you posted....is blank. It says "This image has been removed or deleted. Photobucket."

GG:

His post was two years ago, probably deleted the pic from photobucket since then.
