Great question, Sgt. (I love your pictures.)
Considering that last year I got a waterpik and the year before I got a scale, I'd say not getting nuttin this year was a blessing in disguise!!
Thanks for asking, hope you enjoy the comb. Did you get a brush too??

I was suppose to buy myself something but I have everyting I want. My husband got me a GPS which was a surprise since we were not suppose to buy each other anything. I have a GPS but the battery does not work and I want to use it on the golf cart. I had gotten him tickets to the Rat Pack comes back here on 4/28. Would you believe it is almost sold out already.

I got completely spoiled. I used to have a gold locket but lost it shortly before we moved. So, Jess got me a new one. It is definitely something I will treasure. Having long-haired cats, vacuuming is always a pain. So, I am now the proud owner of a Dirt Devil All-Purpose Vac for Pets. Man, does it ever pick up the cat hair! It is AWESOME!!! What makes this so very special is that Jess truly sacrificed for these two gifts. You don't make much only working weekends for 3-4 hours as a waitress, yet she managed to buy both of these things and filled my stocking. What a sweetie!
Hope everyone had a super Christmas!

My lovely wife and I decided to give ourselves a trip to St Kitts for a week which we did in early December. We decided that we have enough "stuff" and should take advantage of good travel opportunities...and we did.

I was given a fabulous book about Key West and attended dinner hosted by my very loving and generous brother & sister in law. I'm feeling very blessed.

Daughter gave us a calendar she had made with pictures of Scarlet, our Irish Setter, from puppy thru adult bringing back great memories and a lump in the ol' mans throat.
My Wife got me a new Fiddle. I got her the complete dvd collection of the Friends Show, but the best was Picture of our grandkids.

It is became apparent to me that my friends and family think we have everything we need when they presented us with a "Pull my Finger pootin' Santa". The grandkids got a big kick out of it, but where do you display something like that?

Mom2Five....TreeTops, a TOTV sponsor, has excellent beginner golf lessons; one day a week for 4 or 5 weeks, hour and a half a session; group of no more than 6 or 7 and cost is about $125. I took lessons from Janice Girard and thought she was excellent. They are just south of 466 where it intersects with Rolling Acres Rd.
TV also does beginners lessons at Arnold Palmer....every day of the week for 5 days and some sort of private review afterwards...but, I recall it was more expensive.
I preferred the once a week approach so that you could practice what you learned during the next week.
Good luck....it's lots of fun.

At the Golf Academy at Arnold Plamer we are going to take New to golf 2. Maybe should have been one but think 2 is what we need. It is 5 days for a total of 7 1/2 hours for $225.
http://www.golfthevillages.com/ gives you prices and other info. MOre expensive then other places but we like using our golf cart to go everywhere.
