Was gonna hit one of the Squares but since that's out, will stay home and do nada. Will put out food for grazing purposes, drink a toast with hot chocolate at midnight.
Kinda miss NYE in California. I used to invite all the neighborhood kids (about 12 ranging from 4-15) for a slumber party -- let the adults have their fun. Jess, the kids and I had a blast! We'd make the noisemakers out of toilet paper rolls, beans and giftwrap. Everyone would paint a t-shirt. Then, dinner time was spaghetti, salad and garlic bread. Down for a nap so they could be awake at midnight. Up in the morning, fix some scrambled eggs and bacon and send 'em home wayyyy too early for their parents' liking!

We had spots on the square--well you know what happened with that :) Now our group will go to a friends house and celebrate. May go see Rocky and The Rollers until 9pm.

out for seafood dinner and then to house party with great old friends . Im excited about seeing an adorable cocker spaniel that I adopted out about 5 mos ago to the people having the party. Ill probably end up playing with the pup all night. Cant think of a better way to spend New years eve.

My wife and I will be leaving Michigan on the morning of the 31st. We will be heading to TV and or new home. Hopefully New Years Eve night will be spent in a motel room in southern TN or northern GA. We are traveling with our two cats so we don't know how many miles we will make. We are hoping to spend the night of the 1st in our new home. Wish us luck.

Just a few close Village friends at our house, lots of laughs, some spirits, some food, some music, some talk, counting down the ball in Times Square followed by some New Year hugs and kisses, and wishes for a truly Happy and healthy New Year to everyone in the Villages....and everywhere else of course. Per cen'anni !
