My wife and I are not Villagers yet, but are strongly considering it. The thing I am confused about concerning golf is this: What do people do about "warming up" before a round?
I notice that there are 4 ranges. 2 of them are aqua ranges and 2 others are normal ones. Those would be great places to practice (as opposed to just warming up before a round), but if you aren't at one of those clubs what do you do? I've heard about the nets. So here are my questions:
Are there nets at each championship course that doesn't have a range?
Do you just hit your own balls into the net?
How many nets are there? Is it a problem to hit more than 4 or 5 shots if you want to just warm up before teeing off?
Is hitting one of the aqua balls similar to hitting a normal ball?
Do you hit off mats or turf at the ranges (I assume it is mats for the nets)?
I assume this is no warming up at the executive courses (other than putting). Is that correct?
The golf at TV looks great, other than the simple ability to warm up before you play. How do you handle this, or do you just go off the first tee cold?
Thanks!
