I wanted to know if there was a day when the trash would pick up large furniture? or broken appliance and do you need to call them ahead of time to let them know and if so what is the phone number?

Does the fee include disposal of bulk items?

Yes. Please contact the service provider directly to schedule pick-up of bulk items. Their office is open Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (excluding holidays) at 352-748-0109 (Sumter & Marion counties)

If the furniture is still serviceable, Salvation Army, Goodwill, and Vietnam Veterans of America can arrange free pickup along with any clothing or household items you no longer need.
