Talk with Tim the owner of Stumpknockers and was trying to get him to open up in the old Osheas building. Everyone that like that restaurant call them and have them tell Tim yes come to The Villages. We can all use another restaurant there is enough for every one.

Wouldn't that be great? We love Stumpknockers and would really welcome them.

Love it on the river but no ambiance at O Shea's.
Why come here when they are packed all the time.

I have to agree about the Old Florida ambiance and the river location.
Stumpknocker's probably will do itself a big favor and stay right where it is right now. It would be a terrible thing for the owner to invest all that money in a new venture and have it fail. He has a good thing going by the river. People like it and it is nice to get out of The Villages once in a while.
Two restaurants were there. Two restaurants failed quickly. That has to tell a person looking where to put a restaurant that this just might not be the perfect place.

I tghink the beuty of Gator Joe's, Eaton Beach, and Stumpknockers is their location and each has a certain ambiance. It wouldn't be the same for any of them in TV. Just my opinion.

What kind of restaurant would you like there? It is a prime location.

I don't consider that a prime location when two have failed!

The "failure" of the Speckled Butter Bean was due to a divorce of the owners .... not a biz failure. They also closed the Webster location.
This location would / could have ever bit as much ambiance as Stumpknockers downtown Inverness location

The Webster location has reopened and is called Farmer's Market Resturant.
Was there last week on "Sale Day" for lunch.

How about the "prime location" just outside of Leesburg where "Mr. P's Speakeasy" still stands empty? Now, that was a "great" business venture, wasn't it?
