Today we watched the tribute plus other coverage of what
occurred at the Boston Marathon one year ago. New England Sports Network had full coverage out of Boston, pouring rain and all. The great pride, heroism and "Boston Strong" sentiment stood out, even in the face of the inclement weather.

God forbid that it happen again.....but Boylston Street was evacuated tonight after backpacks were found at the marathon finish line. Because of the high police presence, the man was captured quickly and is in police custody.

We knew from the news today that backpacks were not going to be allowed..........just see through clear bags.

We remember what happened a year ago so clearly, just like it was yesterday. Our adult kids all lived and worked in Boston after university. It's our "big city". "Boston Strong".

How incredibly stupid can one person be. What did he hope to accomplish with this "hoax"?

I agree.

I just read the updated version of last evening's "scare".....
Everyone's going to be on edge till the marathon is over....

What you may not have heard is the guy was mentally challenged. He is under psych care at this time. It's been all over the news in Boston.
