When I bought a new computer about 1 year ago it came with a trial version of Microsoft office 2010. I never installed or used the trial but rather installed the old Microsoft Office 2000 from my earlier computer.
Things were working fine with Office (and Word) 2000 until last month when I "mistakenly" opened the 2010 trial version. When I did this, it converted my entire document folder (Word) to 2010 and now I cannot access these files unless I buy the new program Office 2010. Why should I if Office 2000 was working fine.
So how can I get around this problem or can someone offer me a reasonable solution
