It has been suggested, by majority, I use Dr. Mitchell for surgery for my Rotator Cuff Tear surgery. Just one more time on this site; any recommendation?a bit nervous.

Try cortisone injections and physical therapy first.

I felt your senses..I did shots, therapy..and everything else ...The only thing that helped was Dr. Mitchell. The sooner you go..the sooner you feel better.

Before ANY surgery, get a second opinion from another specialist. A second opinion is usually covered on most health insurance plans. Call your health insurance provider to get the details.

My husband had surgery in September by Dr. Cook, who is in shares office space with Dr. Mitchell. Both surgeons are highly respected and excellent surgeons, also they enroll the patients in a therapy program. The therapy is the most important step to getting back to normal. I sincerely suggest either doctor, seems to be the best surgeons in the area. Yes, you can shop around or have the surgery and get on the road to recovery.

I was told my 2 Doc's I needed surgery. I went to Dr. Reily at Ocala Ortho and he told me my shoulder was fine except for some tendinitis. Feel great now.

If you want a second opinion from a doctor who is not knife happy, try Dr. Peter Mulhurn.
