My husband and I have eaten the pizza a number of times. The best we had since moving to FL is Bravos.

The pizza was good, but the service was really bad. The person who was suppose to wait on us really didn't want to be there, and ignored us. The restaurant only served soda and getting a refill on water was next to impossible. Our one and only visit was last year so things may have changed.

We have had no problem with service. They have beer and wine in addition to soda.

The pizza is good. But it is often over crowded and very loud. Sound just bounces off all the hard surfaces.

I think Bravo pizza is good but pricey. I like carry-out pizza from Mallory Country Club the best. In my opinion it is the best pizza around.

I understand that NYPD pizza is fantastic. Where is Bravo pizza?
And yeah, MHCC has real good pizza also.

I think Bravo Pizza is the place I had amazing pasta with a great marinara sauce. Service was okay and food was very good.

I agree. However, Bravo does make a really good stromboli.

Bravo Pizza is in Sumter Landing near their Subway, AAA, and Cals Barbershop. https://www.thevillages.com/lifestyle/images/maps/SM_MARKET%20SQUARE.pdf

We have not been there in a few years since NYPD Pizza opened which is quite closer to us.

We love Bravo Pizza. I don't think it's pricey, at all. We usually get a plate of garlic knots, a 14" pizza, a large house salad, and 2 soft drinks (they have soda's and iced tea) for close to $20. We only had to wait for seating once (Rocky and The Rollers were at the square) and service has always been very friendly.

Being born and raised in New York (The Pizza Capitol of the US) we find Flippers and NYPD as close to REAL PIZZA you can find. We tried Bravo several years ago and did not care for it but things may have changed.

With all due respect, Boston's North End is the pizza capitol!

Love Bravo's, I heard from the cooks there that the owner was from NYC, and I agree, Boston's North End is the pizza capital, love Regina's and E.Boston's Santarpio's!!!:mmmm:

Chicago has the best pizza! NY or Boston acceptable. Outside of Chicago, Bravo Pizza is acceptable too. We usually carry out as the dining is too crowded and too loud.

We like Bravo a lot. NYPD is ok, better than when they first opened but not great. Flippers is also good but not something I can put into any category. It's just Flippers and we like it. There is an excellent Italian restaurant near TV that makes a consistently great NY pizza. The owner is from NY and it's almost like being back up north. Their pizza would be considered great, even in Brooklyn but you'll have to find it on your own. They do a nice business now and I don't want them to be overwhelmed.

I went to Bravo tonight and bought two pizzas , sausage, green peppers, meatball and a cheese pie. I thought they were good. Now for that place near the villages, how about a hint, lol.:mmmm:

We ate at Bravo quite a while ago close to closing time and although we only ordered 3 slices they brought us a whole pizza with no charge for the extra slices. They said they were closing and to just take the extra. The waiter was really nice also and attentive. I think the pizza was fine.
