Going forward........

I know we should all strive to be better people every day, and can always improve our relationships to other people, I propose the following:

Born and raised in the Catholic tradition, and not being the most steeped in and or versed, of people, in the traditions of religion. I have decided to make the time between Good Friday and Easter, a personal holiday, of Yom Yippur.

In order to apologize to God, one must:
1.Pray
2.Repent
3.Give to charity.

If anyone who is not Jewish, wants to make this an annual event, I think we all can be better people, who are compassionate to their fellow man.

When we are content to be just as we are, then we stop growing.

I am not trying to preach, but if this post moves you in this direction, I will be more than willing, to be thrown from my soapbax...........

Just a thought worth mentioning. In My humble Opinion.

Pretty sure we are all supposed to do this daily. Boy, do I ever fall short. Thanks 2BNTV, for reminding me of it. BTW, your opinions always seem kindly, humble, and never overbearing.

What can wash away my sin?
Nothing, nothing, nothing I can do.
But receive freely given forgiveness through the blood of Jesus.

Joe is the man! Jesus is the Lord of Lords!

I'll second that opinion.

Very much agree:)

I do not post often, but usually read all 2bntv's threads b/c of the reasons you mentioned, Parker.
