Wal-Mart and Wild Oats unveil cheaper organic line

Walmart will offer Wild Oats organic items at least 25% cheaper than other national brands. Example: a six ounce can of organic tomato paste will be priced at .58 cents while other national brands sell for .98 cents.

Although, if I understand correctly, it won't be in every walmart, it think it will be in the Villages.

I'll try the tomato paste! I can't wait.

But here's what I wonder: Why are they so expensive on the non-organic fruits and vegetables? How can they be commited to lowering prices? What's up? :shrug:

I called Walmart on 466 yesterday and talked to the produce manager. He said he has not heard anything about this new line of Wild Oats organic products.
