TOTV Monthly Luncheon at Crispers ..... Friday Jan. 18 at 3 PM

I suggest that the time of our first TOTV luncheon planned for Friday, Jan 18, 2008, be changed from 1 PM to 3 PM.

Yesterday I talked to the manager of Crispers to make sure there would be available tables and staff for the first TOTV luncheon. To my surprise (Duh), he said they would be "packed" at 1 PM because the snowbirds are here. And that we would definitely have a problem getting seats together. I think the whole idea is to get tables together so we can sit and talk.

The manager said by 3 PM the restaurant should be almost empty and there will be lots of tables and space available for our members to meet and chat.

If this is OK with y'all, could someone please update the TOTV calendar as I don't know how! Sorry if this time change inconveniences anyone.

Please note...the luncheon/meeting is on FRIDAY, Jan 18th;

This is sooooooo exciting. I can't wait to see all the pictures. HANDLES, please use them on your name tags as well. I can't wait to get there April 16-22 for my lifestyle preview. I'm hoping there will be a TOTV luncheon during that week. PLEEEEEEEASE! It's amazing to me how quickly it seems Barefoot and Scottke have become Veterans. If we have a big crowd and it is a cool day, some of the Chat Pack may want to sit outside, so don't forget your earmuffs. cold

From what I understand, meetings are planned for every THIRD FRIDAY of each month, at Crispers, at 3 pm. Until otherwise noted. It's presently a trial-and-error effort. Are we in agreement?

IMHO, impromptu meetings are good whenever someone is in town. Golfnut is right, post when your coming to TV and we'll try to put together a casual get together. The more we can have of this, the more can meet each other. It doesn't have to be a formal get-together. Again, IMHO.

Fran, don't worry about the pics. I'll be bringing a couple of cameras -- one film, at least one, if not two digital. Just not as good as Jan's but all take very nice pics and I'm relatively decent at taking them ... at least with my Canon.

Barb, patio may be a great place if weather is good!! However I would recommend that peeps would be better to first go inside to get your name tags, order food, and then decide where to sit.
