When do snowbirds start leaving The Villages?

Had originally planned a September trip. In reading residents post that seems to be when TV is less crowded. Think it might be better to see TV when it has more residents to get a real feel in regard to traffic, Restaurants, Tee times, etc.

Lobo...peak months are Jan and Feb; I do start to notice a slight decrease in traffic in early March, but, still pretty busy. Any of those 3 months will give you a sense of The Villages and Florida at its busiest.
