Facebook for Kindle

I was playing Words with Friends from my Kindle with another person. He said that he was playing on his phone. When I asked how he said that he had Facebook on his phone.

I am wondering if I installed Facebook on my Kindle if I would then be able to play Words with Friends from Kindle to Kindle.

Does anyone have Facebook on their Kindle Fire? And if so, which version - the free one or one of the buy ones.

From what I have gathered, their Facebook "app" is just a link to a web browser. This isn't an actual app. It does have an app for words with friends though.

Thanks. I play Words With Friends from my Kindle with a guy on a iPhone Facebook app. I was just wondering if I should use the Facebook on Kindle to play Words with Friends instead of the Kindle app for Words with Friends.

I think that it is for connectivity. It is so confusing.
